2016 Kids Camp Parents Manual

Where:
Kids camp is located at the Springville Camp and Conference Center in Springville, AL.
Housing:
The camp site has 3 very large buildings and each of them have 4 rooms that sleep about 35 kids each on bunk beds. Kids will need to bring their own sheets or a sleeping bag.
Meals:
All meals are catered by the retreat center. There is also a concession stand at certain times of the day for kids to purchase snack and drinks.
Services:
All services are held in a large meeting center after dinner. During these services there is worship, games, puppets, teaching, and prayer time.
Stuff to Do:
Kids camp has lots of stuff for the kids to do. During the free time they can swim in the pool, ride zip lines over the lake, rock climbing wall, ride canoe’s and paddle boats, and or the many slides and inflatables on the lake.
Safety:
All activities are closely supervised by church leaders that are there are camp with the kids. Also the camp itself has many leaders and supervisors that help monitor all the activities during the day.
