This week we continued our series on Healing by looking at this story in the Old Testament and how Jesus made the connection to the cross. What we look at has a direct connection to what we believe. Proverbs 4 tells us not to let God's word depart from our sight because it is health to all our body.

In particular we looked at the curse of the law found in Dueteronomy. In Galatians 3:13 we see that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law so that we are free from it.

This is the first message in a 2 part series on marriage and relationships. This weekend we addressed the common incorrect assumption that our spouses/marriage is supposed to make us happy. This assumption is easy for us to cultivate in our minds when modern day music, tv and movies constantly tell us that if we are truly in love we will live "happily ever after." However, when you read the Bible and the way it talks about love you will see that very little of it deals with your personal happiness.
