Life
This week we looked at the story where Jesus clears the temple and makes a bold declaration about his resurrection.  He declared that the body was the temple signifying the value that every body has on the earth.  Jesus shows us the importance that every person has and how that perspective should change the way we deal with people.

    Home
This week we took a look at how Jesus addresses the issue of home. In one of His initial conversations with his disciples He declares that heaven is His home and God is His father.  This is significantly different from all of Jesus' contemporaries throughout history.

    What Are You Looking At

Jesus made a reference in the Gospel of John to how the Son of Man will be lifted up like Moses lifted the snake up in the wilderness.  This week we continued our series on Healing by looking at this story in the Old Testament and how Jesus made the connection to the cross.  What we look at has a direct connection to what we believe.  Proverbs 4 tells us not to let God's word depart from our sight because it is health to all our body.

    Happiness

This is the first message in a 2 part series on marriage and relationships.  This weekend we addressed the common incorrect assumption that our spouses/marriage is supposed to make us happy.  This assumption is easy for us to cultivate in our minds when modern day music, tv and movies constantly tell us that if we are truly in love we will live "happily ever after."  However, when you read the Bible and the way it talks about love you will see that very little of it deals with your personal happiness.
